The Hovercraft landing site would not only deny beach and water users access to this pristine beach, but it would also have unforeseen and dramatical ecological consequences for the spot and its fragile dunes surroundings.
In order to stop this money-driven aberration, “Windsurfing Africa” and Matthew have taken the initiative of creating SAVE BIG BAY to inform us in details about this project and to give us all the chance to post on their website our name and objection. All of these objections will be forwarded to the Cape Town Council if, and when, the hovecraft project public hearings take place. A chance not to be missed !
